The model Build Operate Transfer (BOT) concession is the standard agreement under which a private firm builds and runs a toll highway for the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

It requires NHAI to buy back a project when traffic exceeds design capacity, and aims to revive private investment in toll roads.
