The Makkah Joint Defence Agreement is a mutual defence pact of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan.

8 Aug 2026Briefnewly addedAt Makkah on 7 August 2026, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan signed a pact under which an armed attack on one is treated as an attack on all three. It builds on the Saudi and Pakistan defence agreement of September 2025, and India said it was studying the implications.
